Promimic is a Gothenburg-based Medtech company specializing in biotechnology. The company conducts research and development in surface modifications, specializing in the field of osseointegration for dental, spinal, joint, extremity and sports medicine implants. The majority of its activities are in Europe and America, where research and development are conducted in-house but also through strategic partners.
The company originates on research at Chalmers University of Technology and was founded in 2004, where the company has developed a state-of-the-art nanotechnology that mimics nature and makes it possible to create a unique bioactive surface on all implants. The HAnano surface ® product has demonstrated in over 30 in vivo and in vitro studies a significant acceleration of bone growth, indicating a clearly improved recovery for the patient.
